ASP.NET MVC Front-End Developer
Getable is looking for an experienced front-end web developer who is excited about working at a fast growing startup and wants to see his or her work have immediate impact on the user experience and the company’s bottom line. This is a full-time permanent opportunity. We are funded, have an office in San Francisco Financial District and need a strong Front-End Web Developer to complete our team! We've got tons of interesting projects that are waiting for you.

UI/UX developer:
Getable is a combination of consumer facing websites and back-end tools for Getable's partner merchants who market their products through our channels. The quality of the interface and the user experience will greatly impact our customers’ satisfaction and our success. You should develop for the ease of use from a user perspective. Interfaces should be intuitive and not require training or studying a long user guide.

You love using the right tools to develop the most scalable solutions. You have fully embraced Cloud Computing because it allows you to focus on developing features for users instead of managing servers and related non-productive tasks. We need you to be comfortable building internal and external facing APIs for our front-end team and external partners.

Business Development Internship
Are you thinking about a future in sales or business development? Want to see what it’s all about? We’re looking for a hustler who’s eager to get her hands dirty at a startup. No prior experience is necessary, just smarts and a “can do” attitude. We love go-getters who take initiative. We’re big on folks taking ownership of projects, and you’ll be working in an environment with plenty of opportunity to grow and develop your skill set. Above all, the role is expected to be adaptable, and is subject to change according to the ever-developing nature of a startup. Work hard, play hard.
Your typical day may involve:
- Surveying local businesses, by foot or by phone, to determine accurate targets for sales
- Updating business profiles in the Getable database
- Researching a topic and creating relevant marketing materials
- Posting to web forums to raise awareness of the Getable brand
- Working with customer data to ensure account information is accurately represented in the Getable Marketplace
This position is based in downtown San Francisco, CA, and will last for approximately four months during the Summer of 2012.
Operations Internship
Are you super organized and uber efficient? Want an inside view of what life looks like at a rapidly evolving startup? For our Operations Internship, we’re looking for a smart, innovative problem solver who relishes in finding bugs, loves analyzing spreadsheets to spot trends, and possesses the focus to get stuff done quickly before self-starting on another task. We’ll consistently ask you to challenge yourself, and you’ll love the opportunity for growth and new responsibility. Above all, the role is expected to be adaptable, and is subject to change according to the ever-developing nature of a startup. Work hard, play hard.
Your typical day may involve:
- Performing Quality Assurance (QA) tests across the different Getable platforms (Marketplace, Point of Sale, Back Office, StoreFront), and documenting any potential bugs or errors in a clear, methodical fashion.
- Updating rental partner inventory in the Getable database
- Providing great customer service to a Getable customer
- Researching a topic and creating a spreadsheet of valuable data
- Conducting product research to build out consumer-facing search results
- Light design work in Photoshop
This position is based in downtown San Francisco, CA, and will last for approximately four months during the Summer of 2012.
